「Fantastic place, a lot activities, very professional staff, always ready to help.Tasty food at Babylon, but menu to small. We stayed 5 days and getting lunch and dinner on 4 different courses is not OK. Farm houses are build for a warm summer season. First house we stayed was just to cold. next day we moved to another house, which was much better. It was our third time, bit longer this time We enjoyed every day.」

「Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. 「Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour.」

「 We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!」
