"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"This is a historic hotel with a huge charm factor. My room was enormous with three balconies, and the staff was very welcoming and professional. I especially enjoyed tea and coffee in the outdoor private garden and pool area. The location was central and convenient. I always felt safe and welcomed. "

"The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. I personally loved the vegetable samosas served on Thursday morning. I also love how they have different variety of Sri Lankan curries in the morning. Also their fruits were ripe and very sweet. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the room when we arrived and they moved us to another room. The pool was very nice to swim in and their burger was tasty.
