"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"Fresh fruit served for breakfast everyday. Lovely staff particularly the gentleman who managed the restaurant and the young lady that served our breakfast and dinner. "This is a historic hotel with a huge charm factor. My room was enormous with three balconies, and the staff was very welcoming and professional. I especially enjoyed tea and coffee in the outdoor private garden and pool area. The location was central and convenient. I always felt safe and welcomed. "

"The hotel was nice for us as a family. The hotel itself is ok not amazing but it had a nice pool (NOT the 8 pools advertised on expedia) but we could see from pics this seemed unlikely. The view from our room was really poor of other hotels or a derelict housing area which as on a massive hill is a shame. Staff lovely as per normal. The rooms were a little old but ok. The breakfast was not buffet as not enough people staying there. Which is fair enough but we could order what we wanted and it...
