Great staff but… Expedia stung me. They wanted to charge me about £20 for two breakfasts. Only option. There’s only one of me so I declined. Get here and.. it’s £16 FOR ONE BREAKFAST. Absolute robbery, especially when I’ll only have a croissant and a coffee. Won’t be staying at Holiday Inns any more.

Alway a brilliant stay

Brilliant night away with 4 kids -from 1yrs old to 8yrs old. We had asked for an interconnecting rooms which was brilliant. The swimming pool was fantastic. We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. Always highly recommend the Holiday inn to everyone. Brilliant setting

Fabulous team on the front desk, absolutely first class and as good as any 5* hotel even though this is a busy conference hotel. All the staff, in the restaurant, cafe and front desk were just lovely. Rooms fairly standard but clean and client.

Fantastic on every level, best staff of any Holiday Inn. Only thing I could fault the stay on is the size of the TV's in the room, they are absolutely tiny.

Beyond excellent!

Everything about this trip and this hotel was fantastic! The hotel, despite undergoing some renovations, was impeccable. Every single member of staff we engaged with provided the highest standard of customer service. The leisure facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The booking system worked perfectly and the pool never felt overcrowded. The restaurant was incredibly good value for money and the standard of food was far beyond what you would expect from a hotel restaurant. The belly pork was one of the nicest, well balanced and impeccably cooked meals I have ever eaten. The facilities at the hotel were amazing, there were communal areas where there was colouring for children, books, board games and a football table. We could not fault it, and have already booked again.

Fantastic hotel for families but…..

Lovely hotel very suitable for families with access to the swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Beware of the old ladies that stare at you and your children when you enter the pool and then come over and tell your children not to splash them all in the family swim time as well.

Beautiful stay

Lovely hotel with amole In site parking for a family trip. The staff at the front desk were so warm, lovely and welcoming and are a credit to this hotel. The conversations in the corridor carried into the room a but but this is a minor thing.

Great if you don’t take a dog

The room was not ideal when you have a dog. If you are offering dogs to stay, the room should be bigger. The beds were horrendous, the worse sleep I’ve ever had. Another thing I would suggest is trying to sound proof the rooms. We could hear full conversations at 3am from the corridor and the room next door The staff were as always amazing. And were very helpful with our dog and made a fuss of her.
