"My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at KClub in Bali. It was our first visit and we do not speak the local language, so we were a bit nervous, especially with a 10-night stay. From arrival, our butler Reno was cheerful, polite, and incredibly helpful. He toured us around the property, showed us how everything in the villa worked, and highlighted activities like yoga, rice paddy walks, and itinerary planning. He also surprised us with honeymoon treats and checked in regularly. Communication was easy through a WhatsApp group with the front desk, where we requested extra towels, wake-up calls, and general advice, always receiving quick replies, which we loved as phone-averse millennials. KClub has two restaurants, Akar and Kraton, and we especially loved Kraton for its quieter setting and delicious food. Our server, Gusde, remembered our names and preferences, introduced us to Balinese dishes, and even customized a special BBQ set menu for us. Overall, the staff were kind, patient, and efficient. Many addressed us by our first names and seemed aware of our plans. The manager, Jiwah, personally congratulated us on our honeymoon and ensured everything met our expectations. Beautiful views, excellent facilities, and heartfelt service made us feel like VIPs. Our honeymoon was perfect, and we hope to return to KClub someday."

"We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon while it was in its soft opening phase. To be fair, since it’s a new property, the room quality and facilities were clean and brand new. The staff initially seemed friendly. However, our experience was completely ruined by their utter lack of professionalism during and after checkout. We had a massage at the hotel and specifically requested to "post to room" to pay during checkout. When we checked out, we paid for our room service and explicitly asked the front desk, "Is everything settled? Are we good to go?" They confirmed that everything was paid for and told us we were clear to leave. Here is where the nightmare started: 1. Harassment on the way to the airport: While heading to the airport, the hotel contacted us claiming they "forgot" to charge us for the massage. 2. Security Risk: They asked for my credit card information over the phone. Even after providing it, they claimed the payment failed and started demanding an e-transfer. 3. Constant Nagging: Ever since then, the management has been hounding me via WhatsApp and email, constantly asking me to do this and that to fix their mistake. This is clearly an issue caused by the unprofessionalism of the front desk staff, not the guest. Instead of taking responsibility for their error, they have been incredibly annoying and have repeatedly ruined my post-vacation mood. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. If you want a stress-free honeymoon, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. It's really isolated and quite far from the town centre, but they do provide free transfers there. You likely would need to get a private driver as you can't really get gojek, grab or klook pick ups from here, so if you arrange a driver from the airport, best to just hire them as a driver for activities nearby. The hotel itself is awesome, fantastic staff and hospitality. Good service and wonderful breakfast selection. The Villa's themselves are well maintained, but some of the places look a bit dated. There's also a sauna and cold plunge pool for guests."

"This resort is somewhat misleading as the grounds are GORGEOUS but the hotel needs some serious work in terms of food, provisions and accessibility. Bagus Jati is not at all walkable. You need to take a buggy from your room to the restaurant, spa, lobby, etc.. The food was also not good at all, we ate lunch and breakfast (buffet) one time each and were not happy with the quality. As the resort is VERY remote it is not possible to order food so I would expect a better food and beverage program. The staff and spa were definitely the highlights, I had a massage/ facial and hair treatment that were all amazing! The pool is also beautiful but not heated and very cold. I would also have appreciated a bar/ restaurant near the pool as the only restaurant onsite is very far! I felt dehydrated during most of my stay. Also something to keep in mind this resort is about an hour to an hour and a half from Ubud and getting transportation was very difficult and not possible at times other than expensive transport provided by the hotel. Looking for a very remote escape than this could be the place for you but I would recommend to stay closer to Ubud for ease of transport and accommodations. "
