Caisteal Camus Caisteal Camus - or Knock Castle - is situated on the east coast of the Isle of Skye. First the seat of the MacLeods it was captured by the MacDonalds in 15th century. The castle is abandoned since 1689 and it is hard to get to the ruin because there is no footpath and wet grass.

Knock Castle, near to Teangue/An Teanga, Highland, Great Britain. Although the site was once occupied by a dun, the existing remains of Caisteal Camus or Knock Castle date from the 15th-century when it was owned by the MacLeods. It was later captured by the MacDonalds and is said to be haunted by a 'Green Lady'.

On arrival we were told they'd upgraded our room at no extra cost which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious, clean and very well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Singh. Would definitely stay again.
