「The hotel is very comfortable, the facilities are very good, the windows can see the mountain view, the scenery is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious.」

However, the staff is what makes this place exceptional. We were here during a bad storm, and the area lost power. We were stressed a bit, but the staff just made us feel taken care of and safe. If you want to visit the Isle of Skye, and you know what that entails, this hotel is an easy pick.」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Our room was lovely with a beautiful view over the loch and the Isle of Skye. In spite of being in the middle of a major refurbishment the staff were extremely corteous and helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was a good one. The room was clean and comfortable with a really good shower and we had a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival.. We will certainly make a return visit some time in the near future.」
