「We were a bit disappointed with our stay at Grand Hotel des Étrangers. While the hotel has been beautifully renovated and is in very good condition, it felt more like a generic luxury hotel and lacked the Sicilian character we were hoping for. 「Het appartement zelf is echt basic. Wij hadden nog een goed bed. De kinderen zegden te hebben geslapen op een rots (zetelbed). Het was wel vlakbij de stad. Kleine keuken, kleine badkamer. Zou het wel niet meer kiezen.」

「This property exceeded by far my expectations! To start they send you the self check in instructions by WhatsApp (clear and to the point including a step by step video). Location is on a relatively wide street and we were able to find a street parking spot easily and 10 mins walk to the beach. The room itself is clean and stylish. 「Grazie Giovani ! A wonderful stay in this gem of a hotel! What lovely staff and hospitality. The garden, was spectacular at night time with a glass of Prosecco. The guide tour in this historic building from 1762 which he calls home, after breakfast was amazing and we felt spoiled. I would return to Noto tomorrow, mostly to say hello to him and see this beautiful home.」
