"Room was great! Infinity pool and restaurant were even better. Amazing view of the ocean. The shuttle service was amazing. It came every hour (sometimes twice hourly) to drop off up to 10 guest down the hill to the town area and/or beach club. The beach club was awesome! Very cleanly and nice access to the beach."
"We stayed in the 4-bedroom family suite and absolutely loved it. There was lots of space for our group, with a large common living area that made it easy to spend time together. The dining table was generously sized, and we really appreciated the ample seating on the balcony/terrace.
The fridge is a larger bar-sized fridge, which worked perfectly well for our needs. The coffee and tea station was a lovely touch, and having a sink in the common area was very convenient. Overall, the suite felt spacious, comfortable, and very well designed for families or groups."
"Very unique place, artsy, non-corporate, delightful. Bungalows had covered porches with very comfortable outdoor furniture, including tables, couches, fans and lighting. AC worked great. Ilse and her staff are incredibly responsive and go out of their way to make this a wonderful and welcoming place. Breakfast is right on the beach but in the shade of trees and umbrellas. Walking distance (5 min) to vibrant downtown with clubs, excellent restaurants and shopping. We ate at the hotel’s small beachfront restaurant several times in additional to breakfast (which included lots of different tropical, costa to an, and American breakfast options). Wildlife is all around including monkeys, egrets, a crocodile (fenced out), and we saw an iguana in the trees. "
"I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my stay here. My room was much larger than expected and very clean.
The staff at the front desk was very friendly and as a solo traveler, this made me feel safe. My room was right outside the pool and I loved having the flexibility to sit at the pool or the beach which is only a few steps away! I appreciated that the staff happily carried a beach chair for me to sit directly on the beach as opposed to the shady private area for hotel guests.
I loved waking up every morning to complimentary breakfast delivered to my door. I do wish there were more options on the menu but was very appreciative that this was provided.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay!"
"This property is truly paradise. The staff is beyond amazing and immediately treat you as friends rather than guests. The rooms are clean, with amazing cooling for the humid, hot days. The food is amazing with great dinner selections. We will definitely be back in the future. "
