Great location, some nice bars and restaurants close by, 10 minute walk to the old town.
Staff were friendly. Used the spa in the sister hotel next door. Had a great stay
I really liked this hotel. The staff were friendly, the location was incredible, the distance to the Old Town is very convenient, and dining and shopping options in the immediate area were frankly incredible. I was very pleasantly and cannot wait to visit again. If I had any minor complaints, I would say the mattress was quite stiff, but honestly, that was it.
Ideally located for both the port (we arrived by boat from Helsinki) and the Old Town. Friendly staff with excellent English. Good choice of food at breakfast. Very clean throughout.
Nice property, located just outside the old town, within walking distance from the ferry too, modern property and great staff and service. Highly recommended
This was a great hotel! Had a wonderful view of the old Town and was an easy walk there. The room was quite basic, but the staff were very accommodating, allowing us a slightly later check out and slightly earlier check in. With our room, we paid slightly more for access to the spa, which was well worth it!
We really emjoyed our stay , only positive comments, if ever visit beautiful Tallin again will choose this hotel without any second thought. Many thanks for making our stay very comfortable, smooth and memorable.
Nice hotel with great location! Mostly a calm and quiet area. I've stayed at Metropol several times and I keep coming back because it's reasonably priced. The rooms are a nice size and they have refrigerators which is lovely!
Good location, good services. The only downside was that there was no hot water in the shower on the second morning.

Breakfast was good, area is central, that's about it. Rooms were too stuffy and warm, bathroom had a weird sewer smell and pool had an unmentioned FEE per use.
It was an okay stay and the location of the hotel was very suitable for our stay. The room was of good size, had a fridge and a comfortable bed. The lack of AC made the room rather uncomfortable though. Breakfast was fine, but it would have been nice to have more vegetarian options.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I stayed for three nights in July. The hotel is ideally located—just a short walk from both the harbour and the old town. You really couldn’t ask for a better spot.
My room was spacious, clean, and had large windows. The mattress was firm, which I personally prefer, so I found it very comfortable. The pillows, however, were less impressive—they flattened quickly and lacked support.
The staff, especially the receptionist, were very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was simple but sufficient, with basic options to start the day.
The main drawback—and the reason I’m not giving a higher rating—is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. It got pretty hot inside, and although the window could be opened slightly, it didn’t help.
