"We spent one night here and it completely exceeded our expectations. The location was quiet, peaceful and all the amenities were very clean and modern. We were awaken by a choir of birds, with a backdrop of lush green mountains to sooth our souls. The owners are extremely kind and made sure we had everything we needed. "For only staying two days, I was very impressed. The staff are great, rooms are larger than most in Japan, Onsen was amazing (had to use skin tape over tattoos to go in), breakfast was good. The only thing I will say is the area in which this hotel resides is a bit questionable during the night, though I never had any issues. Would absolutely stay there again."

"The place and location is beautiful. Rooms were big and amenities were accessible. FYI this place caters for locals and if you’re looking for adventurers, food sampling and authenticity this is the place for you. No Western or American breakfast here but I can promise you this… all thru the 3 nights we stayed here Breakfast and Dinner was awesome , delicious and we really enjoyed the food and the service as well. We lived in Japan several years ago and coming back to explore the area close to where we used to live but missed due to our busy schedules is a blessing. And I asked myself? How in the world did we miss this area to explore when our knees were still stronger. There is so much to enjoy here, from this Hotel to the neighboring area. Walk and enjoy the neighborhood, parks and how the local live with lots of scenery and very quiet safe neighborhood. Trains and local transports are available. A must stay hotel and location for peaceful stay and comfortable hotel stay."

"The first room smelled like sewage sadly, I reported it and the front staff promptly put me in the new room and it was nice and clean, no issues- I’m suspecting some old pipes maybe? But other than that, I really appreciated their hearty breakfast menu option you can add, they seemed more thoughtfully prepared than what you would expect from breakfast buffet- Staffs are cordial, nice and helpful :)) The big bath area is a very nice addition - I do wish it smelled more like Hinoki and wondered how long those balls have been in the bath- it didn’t really have much scents- but it’s clean, great amount of amenities. I will return :)) "
