Very convenient location near the train station and a large selection of restaurants, and close to the Crea Mall shopping street, which leads straight to the historic Koedo district. Wonderful!"

"Front desk staff were polite but slightl indifferent, with the exception of one very kind staff member- Tang. She was vmvery attentive and kind. The 7th floor spa and the restaurant's staff were the reason why I gave this place 5 stars instead of 4. The entire restaurant staff made my stay delightful and warm. The food was simply but delightful. And there was one memorable elderly Japanese woman who made me feel just at home with her smiles and energetic conversation- despite not understanding one word! The views of the mountains and the stream were great to wake up to each morning and the hot springs on the top floor were something I looked forward to each night of my stay. I dont know if the water was truly a hot springs natural water, but nevertheless it was clean, and the different temperatures of each bath pool were very relaxing. Thank you Kamenoi for a terrific stay! All of the guests were Japanese, making it understanding that no one really spoke English! But again, a terrific stay."

"Clean room. Good staff. However, only 1 elevator so takes time to access and there is no non emergency stairs as an alternative. "

"Comfortable, clean, easy, owner of apartment was more accommodating than was expected. Kawagoe area is good. Matoba station near Nagatoro and Chichibu and not too far from Ikebukurou."

"The staff was really nice and helpful. The public bath was nice. Breakfast was fine. The room had unpleasant smell. The blanket had some brown stains on the outside. The bed was too hard, and this is coming from a person who prefers harder mattresses. "
