I had a wonderful stay at this lovely and charming Ryokan. They had very nice artwork and decor throughout the Ryokan, everything was very clean and it's in a great location, walkable to all the sites and the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful! I loved this Ryokan and Takayama so much that I give it my highest recommendation to anyone visiting Takayama. Thank you for an amazing stay! I hope to be able to return one day soon!

Charming Ryokan!

A beautiful, home-like ryokan that's a bit quirky but still traditional. The family who runs it is delightful and helpful. Very conveniently located -- about a 10-minute walk from the old town. You can't go wrong staying here!

The Ryokan was only short walk fron train and bus station and also walked to all attractions. The breakfast were excellent. Their kimonos were so comfortable. We love our time here. Close to the train and bus station. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and dinner. The onsen and yukata made it for a great experience. The cookies in room were a nice touch. Highly recommended 👌

Had an amazing stay at this authentic ryokan. The staff is very attentive to all of your needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is outstanding. We had the traditional dinner and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had right down to the presentation.
