Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. Clean and cozy room. Everything was clean and well maintained. Bathroom was fine but didn’t have basic toiletries, so bring your own.

The furniture and some of the appliances need to be updated. The refrigerator had rust under the ice/water dispenser and the sofa was very uncomfortable, very hard.

Overall, we loved this place and it’s a cozy place and we can’t wait to visit again. The employees are very friendly and I cannot find the word to summarize just how amazing this place is. thanks to everyone for helping us to have a short yet memory vacation.

The area is really close to hiking, but a long drive to Skyline Drive. Not much food shopping.
We visited Blue Quartz winery, but they also had beer and cider! The facility was beautiful, staff very friendly, beautiful outdoor area, and wine and cider were good (i don't drink beer but my friend enjoyed it). Thet had Old Rag BBQ food truck y
