「The hotel looks beautiful on the outside. We checked into our room and the minute I opened the room door all I could smell was mold/mildew. The window was painted shut. I went down to the desk and asked for a room with a window that opened, they had one available. The exterior of the window was covered in black mold/mildew. But the room didn't smell horrible. 「The hotel was closed upon arrival and no one ever arrived. The windows were broken and there was an odor of cat urine and a dozen feral cats. We left since the hotel was closed and sought other accommodations. I will demand a full refund from Expedia and my credit card company. Filthy!」

「The kitchen did not have utensils of any kind, no plates or drinking cups. The TV remotes did not work even after staff came to check it out. Had to leave the TV on all night. Road noise was an annoyance making it tough to sleep.」

「We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range...

Beautifully decorated city with Christmas theme. Staff answered questions via email almost immediately. Very professional. We will stay here again. Highly recommend. 」
