"We loved our stay at Cumberland Lorne Resort, the apartment was very clean. We had a garden view that could see part of the sea as well. We love the kitchen, which was very well organised and had everything we needed. We played tennis and basketball as well as squash and table tennis in the games room. The location was in the heart of Lorne, plenty of shops and restaurants downstairs and right in front of the foreshore. Thank you for the warm hospitality and we hope to be back someday ... "

"Beautiful, modern room. Restaurant /bar very nice and staff super friendly and efficient. Only let down was that the pool was closed for 1 day and when open was zoned in lanes, so not a hotel/holiday vibe at all. "

"The Torquay Hotel has an excellent location, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks—everything we tried was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and easy. The room itself, however, was very old and definitely in need of updating. While it seemed generally clean, the carpets were quite worn and felt a bit gross. The bathroom had good water pressure, which was a plus, but the windows had a lot of spider webs around them, even though they were high up. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential thanks to its location, great staff, and solid food and drink options, but the rooms would really benefit from some refreshing and deeper attention to detail."
