「A lone female traveller i was expecting something very different as reviews were very good. All i wanted as a quiet restful evening and sleep. The check in is at the bar, which was already busy at 4.30. The rooms are above the bar and some further away. I was told by the really helpful lads at the bar that there was a band playing that evening finishing at 12. My room overlooked the very busy car park which would have been very noisy at kick out. 「The bedroom was spacious and clean. Everywhere was clean and in good condition - no peeling paint or mustiness you sometimes get with old buildings. The staff could not do enough for you. Everywhere was warm and comfortable. The bars were busy enough to have ambience, but not packed. The pool was brill.」
