"This hotel is a classic!! This was a busy weekend night, so the bar, restaurant, and hotel were busy. The front desk lady, Cynthia, was so kind, helpful and polite. I felt very welcomed! It’s a historic building, so the elevator isn’t th fastest. The rooftop bar and restaurant are super fun too. Valet was busy and there seemed to be some people that were canvassing with red hats on at the valet stand. That was frustrating to get through, but it was a busy weekend. The room was comfortable with nice linens and a spacious bathroom. Be sure to check out all the historic details around the lobby! "

"the rooms are no longer carpeted. no foot odor from previous guests. the swimming pool was warm,not too cold to get in. the view is beautiful early in the morning. "

"The sheets, pillowcases, towels were visibly stained/possibly dirty and completely Dingy, with cigarette burns. The light switches were all broken, the light shades broken, toilet paper holder broken. The bathroom floor hadn't looked like it had been washed, vacuumed, let alone scrubbed in years. There were stains, possible blood spots on the floor. Dirt /dust piled on the sides of the bathroom floor/corners. The carpet hadn't been cleaned between guests as there were visible crumbs and threads. The walls had stains running down them. elevator was broken. Breakfast area did not look clean enough to trust. The lobby had a smell. This is an older hotel, and was expecting the broken items and lack of lighting and out of date everything. And was going to be okay with that for the price. It costs money to update and maintain. However, the pure nastiness of what they feel is okay to pass off as a new cleaned room for guests to stay in? Do they not have bleach, a vacuum, a scrubber, a mop, laundry machines???? I felt disgusting standing in that room. "

"Although the reception was friendly I feel she could have done more. When we ask for more blankets she said she only had one left. I was shocked to hear this. I asked if this was the case of one extra blanket for room and she said no. That she only had one blanket left and that’s all. The hotel overall was old and broken and dirty. Room felt stuffy and it had a bad odor. The shower was extremely hard to turn on. We left and got a new hotel reservation. We couldn’t stay there any longer. "
