「Great stay, good location, good breakfast 」

「The owners were so sweet, very informative about area and places to eat nearby, the room was so clean, heater worked great, bed was so comfortable, water pressure excellent and those towels were like blankets, the breakfast was menu with lots of choices including the full Scottish breakfast as an option, tea was great, coffee was wonderful, location was on a working farm it was the best stay thus far on our roadtrip thru Scotland, would definitely stay again!!!!」

「When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. 」

「Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. 」

「Room was huge for Great Britain! Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space to move around. Parking was a little tight but we managed. After a long day of traveling, it felt like I had won the lottery! 」

「Our stay at Marcliffe was wonderful and felt truly luxurious. The staff went to every length to make sure we were comfortable. While there were small mix-ups with our breakfasts, the inconvenience was quickly overshadowed by the service of having the meal delivered to our room and the delicious cooked meals. It was so special staying here, and we would highly recommend it to our friends and family. 」
