「What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.」

「The most amazing hotel in an equally amazing setting. From the river running past the bedroom window to the cosy log fire with the beautiful stag head above it, every detail was perfect. The décor was beautifully in keeping with the surroundings, with fly rods and antlers adding to the character and charm. 「All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good and could be altered to suit different tastes. The bus service to get into town is a short walk from the hotel. It is not the best hotel and it is not the worst hotel by a long way but it suited us and we look forward to our next visit.」
