「Considering how expensive Switzerland is, this cozy hotel is value for money. The tram is just right downstair. The staff are warm and welcoming. For example, at breakfast, when there was freshly baked croissant, the staff came around and handed out the hot and fresh croissant. When I checked-in too late, around 23:00, the staff was nice and patience. 」

「Ein sehr schönes zentral aber ruhig gelegenes Hotel, ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Haus plus Tiefgarage, sehr freundliches Personal, Bar und Aussenbereich sehr einladend, Zimmer mit Balkon, sehr großzügig, sogar mit Sitzgelegenheit zum fernsehen, sehr sauber, Matratzen super, Bad ebenfalls top und sauber, Frühstück sehr vielseitig, von Kaffe und Tee, verschiedenen Brot- und Brötchensorten über Müsli, Wurst,Käse, Lachs bis hin zu Rührei mit Speck und Würstchen alles vom feinsten. 「Walk over the bridge from the hotel to a nice area with a fabulous little French restaurant, highly recommend. Hote was a bit confusing to enter but it was clean and ok for the one night. 」

「I was at Freiburg for two nights visiting my friends. The hotel is easy to find and have great personnel. The receptionists are specially friendly and ready to assist. While traveling at the city, I have encountered business matter that needs a scanner and a printer. Thanks to the hotel's business corner. It allowed me to accomplish my mission (without charging me.) I really appreciated their help. The room itself is also big and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. :)」

「The room is spacious. Hotel reception puts us in a room far from the pub, which is quiet and comfortable. No air conditioning but I feel ok in June if the windows are open with the fan on. The only improvement is that the room should have a kettle for guests to make hot water. We have to go to the pub and ask for hot water every day, which is not convenient (also I think it may cause inconvenient to the pub owner too)」

「Thanks to the receptionist Samuel for his excellent service and recommendations for local dining restaurants. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful with personal warmth. The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. 」

「Quite near old city center, every sopts is just around, staffs are extremely friendly. The only thing bothering me is the noise in the very early morning from street, hotel prepare ear plug in the room, very friendly.」
