The receptionist (a black lady) was very friendly & helpful. The best part: the shuttle to ski resort stops right in the parking lot of the hotel. Very old out dated property. Smelly cooking on floor 5 but quiet in the room. Not for the family. Maybe a guys weekend? Bathrooms are okay.

Rabbit Ears Motel
The Rabbit Ears has been a favorite of ours for many years. It's nothing fancy, but the staff is excellent. It is at a perfect location in downtown Steamboat, with a bus stop right next to the motel, for easy transit to the mountain. We recommend a king room with sofa, lots of space!
