"The room was very nicely presented, light and very cosy and warm. The staff were very helpful, kathy helped us out lots and assisted us with whatever we needed. Access to the pool and various spa activities was a good addition as well. Lovely place and well recommeded, will deffinetely stay again. "

"The place had literally changed management that day so unfortunately there was no cooked breakfast (only continental) until Sunday when the Chef would be in. Also the dinner menu was changed temporarily because of the sudden change in management. However, the new management and team were amazing in the service provided. Dinner was excellent and there was enough at breakfast for us to be satisfied. Rooms were spotless with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. Hot powerful shower with shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc provided. Comfortable bed and pillows. Dog friendly too. "

"A historic pub and hotel , lovely staff, room very clean and comfy and breakfast to order and nice fresh food . Lovely Frome is worth exploring and the pub restaurant very welcoming . An amazing bus service to Bath from the front of hotel.. runs till midnight ! "
