Have enjoyed coming here for 10 years, and no regrets, but noticing a troubling trend developing over the past few years of local residents (i.e. non-hotel guests) over-indulging at the pool bar and being belligerent, rude , and hostile to both staff and paid hotel guests. I understand the hotel is part of the community and should serve it as such, but perhaps a limit needs to be placed on how many drinks non-guests can order / better vigilance of cutting those off who've had one too many... When a "regular" is identified as "Drunkie Dillon", perhaps it's a sign that some policies need to be changed for the benefit of all.

This property is very tired and in need of TLC. We had a very loud rattle in A/C unit - no way anyone could sleep with the noise. They technically fixed the a/c but it was still soooo loud so they moved us to new room. It's just really tired place - wobbly lamps, loose facets, old bathrooms, chipped paint, Smelly hallways - it's needs a lot of TLC.

Room was not as clean as we thought it should be. At the cost of $370. a night, the room should be clean. The staff was friendly. Food was good for breakfast at the restaurant. A disappointing experience overall.

Man at the front desk is definitely not the warm and friendly type. The smell of something dead greets you when you enter the elevator. Enter our room which is very underwhelming, floors look dirty, outdoor patio and 1 chair are dirty and unkept. The best part is our supposedly freshly cleaned room has about 10 squares of toilet paper. We were definitely put in the junky building of the hotel. Not worth the price of the stay AT ALL!!!

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the staff was very courteous. Everyone we talked to was happy to be there and happy to help answer any questions. The resort offers a ton of amenities and a great atmosphere. Our rooms were also very clean.

Front desk was very welcoming. Room clean and well appointed. Lovely water views. My only complaint was the soundproofing was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced in a nicer hotel like this. It sounded like my neighbors were in the room with me and I could hear every toilet flush from above and next door very loudly. I’m not sure if this was due to my being in what appeared to be a connecting room with a door.

Horrible room. This place smells like sewage water and it’s very old and ugly. Very poor quality and not worth the money. Save yourself time and money and go to Clearwater beach. You will regret your stay here.
