My daughters and I stayed for a night and had a wonderful time! The staff was amazing and we loved the pool area. Walked to the beach, ate dinner at the hotel, food was good and prices were great. Short drive to John’s Pass. All around great visit. We will be back!

Great location. Staff was superb. Excellent value. Our only issue was our room was very dated. It was clean but the bathroom needs a complete overhaul. All the rooms are different so some may be in better shape. I also have an issue with none of the windows opening.

The Malibu Resort was the perfect place to spend a week in Florida. Debbie is awesome, the other guests are all friendly, the pool area is tremendous, and the rooms are very nice as well. Overall I have nothing negative to say and we will be back next March.

This was our first family trip to Florida and we didn’t really know what to expect going into it. We chose this place for the small feel we got from the pictures. It’s a motel that they have practically turned into an oasis. For breakfast there was good coffee and every flavor of creamer the store had available. Several days there were Dunkin’ Doughnuts placed out for the guests as well. We had a minor issue with our room that was fixed almost immediately and then checked up on several times throughout our week long stay. This is really the only thing I can think of that went wrong. The best part of our stay had to be the host of the place, Debbie. She was the nicest and most accommodating host/front desk manager/does it all person that we met the entire time. Her conversations with all of the guests around the pool and common areas made the place feel like a small community. She always had a smile and was willing to go out of her way the second anyone needed anything. I would happily stay here for our next trip to Florida. We were just looking for a room and found a true gem in both the accommodations and our host.

The rooms were very clean, but dated. The pool was very clean and warm. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming always having the coffee on every morning. There is no view of the ocean, but a short walk to the beach.

We found the Malibu's beachy vintage vibes to be very welcoming. Rooms have been updated with new furniture, flooring, bedding, and have a great feel to them. Bathroom was original and clean.There was music by the clean, heated pool. Staff accommodated our daily fresh towels and were friendly. No daily housekeeping which we liked. Across the street from the beach. Lots of amenities near by. A sweet spot🌴☀️🦩
Pool lighting at night was lovely!

Very little parking, have to walk across street to walk pets, no smoking outside of room, must walk all the way to office area to smoke. The staff was excellent and safe environment. Pool area very nice.

Clean room, friendly staff, warm pool. Very quaint, old Florida vibe. Public beach access right across the street. Shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. The only negative to note, is that the doors are very old, and do not seal. You can hear every person walking/talking outside of your room very easily. But, would stay there again.

Hotel was in a great location, 1/2 block from the beach. Our room was clean, comfortable easy check in and check out, convenient no charge parking. Pool area is wonderful. Hotel is dated but well maintained. If you’re looking for a modern facility you might be disappointed in this facility. That being said we enjoyed our stay and will likely return to this location.

opened in 1956, the Malibu is well maintained, and manager Debbie was a gem. Located on Gulf Blvd, convenient to many attractions (public beach across street), we had a restful, pleasant stay. Would definitely return!

Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. A great job renovating after the hurricane damage. Christmas decorations were absolutely amazing. Manager was friendly and personal and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay.
