We were very disappointed the water park was NOT included in our stay. All pictures showed it was. If you missed the cleaning lady it was hard to get clean towels and toilet paper. The building is very old, it is clean though. Never any towels at the pool.

There was construction going on in the hotel the room and the all hotel was falling apart sink in the bathroom clogged every time we used it at the check out we have been charged amenities which there was nothing other then parking and small swimming pool. Overall we had terrible experience and I will tell everyone about it. Very disappointed ZERO STARS

The room was very unpleasant when we entered. The bed linens were dirty and covered in hair, and I found trash. The bathroom was filthy, especially the toilet. It's actually very expensive, and I don't recommend it. The ceiling had holes, and the structure is very deteriorated. I don't recommend it.

My stay at this property didn't start off well. The room I was originally put in was a complete dump. The door looked like it had been pried open many times, you could see daylight through the bottom and there was paint falling off the door and ceiling when I walked in. The walls are paper thin as I could hear everything in the room next to me. After my first night, I awoke to men roofing right above me. I was very disappointed that Holiday Inn would offer rooms like this. I was fully prepared to leave because I felt for the money I spent the quality should have been much better.This place looked like a Motel 6. When I went to the office to complain and go somewhere else, a front staff member named Russ, bent over backwards to try and make me happy. He was so kind, polite, and professional. He upgraded my room and solved my issues. I ended up having a much better stay because of him. Here are the positives of this hotel:The staff is excellent, the location is great and the room service is wonderful and they have a nice laundry facility for guests.The only negative is the place needs completely gutted and redone. The quality just isn't there for a Holiday Inn. I would have left 2 more stars if the property was in better shape. Honestly, the guy that saved the day was Russ! Give him a raise!

Place was great for regular people. Don’t let the bad reviews from diamond necklace Karen’s steer you away. Older hotel but clean for a place to lay your head. Outside seating with good view for restaurant. Bartender at jimmy g’s Aaron was awesome. They have resort fees but you get 2 free passes to the water park. They got a pool bar right on the water. Can walk right to the beach and good seafood places nearby. We will be back.

Russ(?) At check-in was great and made us laugh. We got an upgrade and this made our stay perfect. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We lived in this area for over 20 years so having Jimmy Guana's restraunt right on site made seeing friends more convenient than the house rental we did the previous trip. The people are crazy I paid you almost 7 grand for 13 days and that's not including the two add-on rooms the $450 in your gift shop and all of the food all of the events how nice everything was and then all of a sudden you're at my door tell me you won't extend my stay there was piles and piles and piles and piles of terminite feces okay that made me sick your first room you had to move you from smell like human feces the second room didn't drain and the toilets overflowed when you use the hot tubs in the bathrooms there was all kinds of black stuff that just came out of them I've been bit up transferred termites to my home and you come and just say you're not extending her stay you guys are crazy and it shows online there's 346 complaints about your bug infestation problems and 12 things from terminix saying they've been out there your whole restaurant smells like straight fish like it's been dead right in there it's disgusting you don't clean your pools you're arcade which is one of the reasons I came has been closed for repair and Beach or water park was closed every time it sprinkled the pool closes it's just all a bunch of bullcrap to take my money I was charged $250 $250 250 250 250 100 and 100 and just deposits I haven't been there and probably a good 8 or 9 days haven't received any of those back none of my points you guys are straight crazy for real and I really hope that karma comes upon you that's my reply and I told you I was the elite member the whole time you ne

So much black mold! You could smell the mustiness as soon as you walked in. Gave my mom and I the worst migraine, and my 3 year old toddler broke out with eczema flare up from it. A cold front beat us to our reservation but we managed to walk and travel but missed all the amenities being chilly and windy first two days.. Enjoyed the bar and entertainment nightly. Walking on surrounding boardwalk was nice. But 39-50 was cold to us being from Florida. Restaurants besides on premises are all around this venue. On our last day of checkout the sun was out in full force and we enjoyed the warmth and views of the marina and waterway.

After spending over $300 for one month, it would’ve nice to have a room that wasn’t mold infested, fire alarms missing, carpet coming up and a stale smell. The staff was amazing and the food was great, though. I don’t think we would stay again for the price and what we got. No one seemed to care either. Someone came into our room at some point between checkin and us enjoying dinner and it wasn’t even acknowledged.
