An unique opportunity to stay in an historic property in the Bothwell area. This place has a comfortable feel with antique furnishings and modern ensuite. The golf setup was pleasing to those interested. Half the guests during my stay were golfing. There is the option for a communal evening meal in the modern events room which has a lovely view of the countryside. The food was good as was the conversation among the guests. There was a reading and historical backgrounding on the property. It is...

We really enjoyed our stay and found ourselves wishing we were staying more than one night. Laurette was so nice, and the room was really cozy with an amazing view of the river. There were also some nice walking paths a few hundred meters from the hotel.

Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlooked— fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Review for Junction Motel New Norfolk
If you love colors, art, and history, this is a wonderful place to stay. Each room is uniquely decorated with creativity, clean and comfortable. Just steps away from the charming town center, you can enjoy views of the Derwent River, heritage sites, antique shops, and cozy cafés. Truly a memorable and artistic experience.

This is a new hotel and is in very good condition.
The only disappointment is with Hotels.com. The price is much higher than it initially showed. If you don't pay from a US account, prepare to pay an international transfer fee and also prepare for Hotels.com's crappy exchange rate.

A magical time in a magical place. We stayed in the Walter (split level two bed room/bath rooms) that was amazing. Great amenities, helpful attentive staff, great food and drinks. The Mona Museum was incredible too. All around it was a most memorable and magnificent time in this gorgeous place!

I had a car during this trip and it's my assumption that's pretty standard for people traveling to Tazmania so I don't know how the locatoin would be if you were relying on public transport, but it was pretty great otherwise. There was a really nice walk to the Woolworths and it seemed a short drive to the river front (unfortunately didn't have a chance to find out). Property was nice and they had a small kids room attached to the restaurant. Nothing to go out of your way to see or anything,...

The hotel has taken the time to create beautiful well groomed trails in the forest. The cabin is spacious. You are close to the Huon Valley with all its attractions. And you are on your way to Southern Tasmania. Great package of features!
