「Good experience at Tasmania」

「We told the host we would arrive after 6pm  in Nov and she was there greeting us as soon as we arrived. We liked the kitchen which got all the cooking wares but not sure if there is cooking oil or seasonings. The electric stove was slow to turn on. The host has provided the eggs, milk, tea bags, coffee and juice as well as bread in two sandwich boxes so we could prepare our breakfast. Everywhere in the house, kitchen and bathroom are clean. 「This is a great place to stay. So much history. The library is amazing. The cottage was built in the mid 1800’s. So it’s vey old. But certainly worth staying. Even electric blankets on the beds. 」

「Fantastic property right by the Tyenna River. Our family of 4 enjoyed using the it as a base to explore the surrounding areas. The river was a big hit with the kids trying their luck at fishing. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable. Thank you for sharing this special spot with us, we loved our stay.」

「This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay.」

「This lovely clean home was a great base for exploring Mount Field National Park and also the Maydena Bike park is next door. Great as a family/ group stay. Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. As a couple we just closed off the other 3 rooms and it felt cosy. Very warm with lots of heating options.
