「Wonderful treat to stay at this hotel. The water view from our room (and even toilet) were amazing!!! Food was good. Lots of parking. Loved the decor except for the tacky photos in the lobby & childish paintings with glitter in some areas. Great town to walk in and also walking paths nearby. 」

「Absolutely loved this hotel! It was such a pleasant surprise, despite already having high expectations. We were in a dog friendly room on the ground floor and it was incredible. The history of the building is evident and we really enjoyed exploring the exterior and the areas near the restaurant. The staff were all very very helpful and pleasant. 「The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. 「This is gem of a hotel for those looking to stay in Truro. A 10min walk gets you into the town centre, but the hotel feels a world away surrounded by lush gardens. A beautiful historic building that’s been decorated to a high standard. Staff were helpful - and I’m not sure how I managed it, but we got an upgrade to the Bishop Suite - a jaw-dropping room and a bathroom with twin claw foot tubs. Breakfast was good and so were the cocktails. 」
