"Nice place"

"That lady with the Karen haircut has a bad attitude. She called herself trying to make it look like I was being kicked out lol, or “trespassing.” For starters, for an old coastal town, that building needs renovating. It’s towns in other Mississippi counties that invest more into their buildings than for what that property number can skyrocket to overnight; I just didn’t want to get sick packing thing up overnight, wasn’t prepared for the drop in temp & increase. There were others in same position but she was snapping & rolling her neck at me unprofessionally but that’s on brand for that property :) so no surprises! She told me “you’ve been a problem since you’ve been here!” So it’s nice to know they were already chipper and excited about my arrival from the beginning!"

"Clean room, excellent staff, great fun! No smoking 🚭 "

"Very outdated. I didn't expect much for the price and the last-minute nature of our trip, but this was not good. The hallways were like a sauna and the rooms were also muggy and had the faint scent of urine - cat (or some kind of animal) urine. They clearly know that the air conditioning/ventilation system is an issue because we had a dehumidifier/air purifier in our room upon arrival. The carpet has DEFINITELY seen better days as well. Bright Spots: I always clean my room upon arrival and despite the worn down condition of the property the room was surprisingly clean (left no stains on my sanitizing wipes) & the sheets passed the blacklight test. The staff was super friendly and apologized profusely for the state of my room. They were fully booked so we could switch, I was told I would receive a $25 credit, but to date - 2 weeks later- no such refund/discount. "

"It had roaches in the room and the microwave did not work (after getting in from a long road trip we could not heat up our food) the bathroom towels wasn’t clean, and the tv was jumping once I turned it on. "

"Noticed a ton of work trucks. I am assuming a ton of workers stay in these rooms often. Well the room smelled like sweaty feet. I cleaned the whole tiled floor with cleaner. It helped but smell was still there. I used a febreze and that seemed to do the job. Maybe the hotel should steam cleaning carpets once in while to eliminate it odors. Other than that everything else was a 4 star. I always clean my room apon arrival . But this one was hard to tolerate at first. "
