「Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.」
「The food was absolutely top notch, dinner was amazing.
Sadly the room, bathroom could most definitely need a complete renovation. The pool, has the lining coming loose, and the jacuzzi had too many chemicals in,and the handrail looks as if it has not been cleaned for ages.
Staff were all very pleasant and extremely efficient.」
「Excellent homecooked breakfast with lots of choice.
Easy off road parking.
Spacious, quiet airy rooms.
Very friendly and helpful hosts.
10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants/pubs.」
「Pleasantly surprised staff were friendly and helpful the restaurant was good with bar games to entertain the kids we stayed for one night whilst visiting family the rooms were clean and comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep thank you」
「Welcome was great with a cup of tea. Very friendly. Beautiful quiet, rural farm setting. Pet friendly.
Totally suited our needs with easy access to Barnstaple, Instow, RHS Rosemoor.」
「Most enjoyable stay, the room we had was spacious and beautifully decorated with a view of the river, and the bed was the softest we had ever slept in! Staff were really lovely and helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the beginning of our stay.
Breakfast was especially good but the main menu was somewhat limited although of high quality,
There was a small car park on site, and plenty of on-road parking although this was very busy during the day. However there was a large quay-side...
「Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.」
