One of the Magnificent Seven historical buildings around the Queen's Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain in Trinidad. Now fully refurbished it was earmarked to be a hotel for visiting Diplomats etc to the Govt of Trinidad and Tobago.
The building, which is home to one of the top colleges in Trinidad and Tobago, Queen's Royal College or known locally as QRC, was opened in 1904. One of the most striking of the Magnificent Seven the main block was fully restored in 2009 and features a clock tower with a clock that chimes. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pools was very nice and excellent customer service. Only thing is they did not have a refrigerator in my room. Not sure if that’s standard for every room. Enjoyed my stay though.
