The location was awesome, free parking for hotel guests and walking distance to the old town and Castillo. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and I could see that the staff took time on it. The not so good: breakfast was not very good, several items in my room didn’t work: phone did not work at all, shower was lukewarm for the first couple nights, some of the channels on the tv just didn’t come in, mini fridge did not keep things cold even on the coldest setting. The ac in the room was cooler. Seems like a lot of things in the room were run-down and old.

First off, the staff is the friendliest I’ve ever met! Big shoutout to them! If you wanna see Saint Augustine this is the best hotel there is. Even the hop on hop off stops right at the hotel so that saves parking and driving!

My husband and I just needed a room to sleep for a night while we were in town to get tattoos. The front office was informative however the room was pretty bad. Run down, small. No ceiling fan and the worst part was the neighbors next to us started arguing around 1am.It lasted into the morning, getting up around 8am I was going to call non emergency but i was able to finally fall asleep. Would not stay again.

Property pictures very misleading the door to my room wouldn’t close or lock. The lock was barely hanging on. Looked like someone had kicked the door in to have the lock all messed up like that. There were dead bugs (roaches) and hair all over the room. I did not feel safe whatsoever staying there. So I left wasn’t even interested in trying another room. At that point my safety felt compromised and they refused to give me my money back.

Good economy option close to the historic district! Roughly 15 minute walk into town, and the rooms themselves are very clean and presentable! The front of the property is beginning to look run down with overgrowth and debris. Great place to stay if you're looking to explore the area on a budget!

The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable and lucky for us our neighbors were quite. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors. The ice machine area was very dirty and the flower beds looked sad and full of weeds making the area look trashy. Breakfast was well stocked and well maintained. We only stayed for one night but would stay again, it’s within walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The toilet wouldn’t flush clean and after trying to call the service desk, the phone didn’t work. After walking to the office, the staff was helpful called maintenance and both were rectified. The breakfast was ok and plentiful. The entire building is filthy and in need of renovations. The breakfast area was absolutely dirty. The baseboards in dining area need replacement and the office area was very dirty. The door in the office looked like it was never cleaned. The staff were pleasant. Shame on Quality Inn. Since I normally stay at a Hilton, I am not sure of the standards set by Quality Inn. I certainly would never stay there again. The only nice thing about this place was the staff. The staff deserve 5 stars. I couldn’t imagine going to work everyday in a place so dirty.

Our outside step up entrance to room was filthy. Powerwash the tile. Inside the flooring was nicked and scuffed. Replace it. Doorway mouldings and baseboards hadn’t been wiped down. The fake leather furniture was peeling off. Throw those pieces in the dumpster. We’ve stayed here before, but definitely needs some attention.

In short the good 4*s: great property, clean rooms (stayed in the King bed room), great option if you like the trolley while visiting, 1 vehicle only parking unless paying extra, free wifi, had 20ish channels on TV, amazing Thai food across the street, 15ish minutes to walk to George Street, 30ish minutes to walk to the augustine distillery. The only negative thing was that breakfast hot food. It was edible but the sausage was questionable. The biscuits and gravy was good. They did offer bagels, cereal cups, and bananas.

I looked at the pictures on the Expedia website and they looked very nice but the pictures were nothing like reality. Our room was in a state of complete disrepair. If I can attach pictures to this review I will to support my comments. The exterior of the building had not been taken care of and the inside was not good either. We have never stayed in such a bad place. My husband was afraid to sit or sleep in the bed. We saw bugs on the floor and it felt like we were in a slum hotel. It had an upholstered suitcase bench that was covered in stains. In the morning when we took showers neither of us had hot water and that was at 8 in the morning. We went to look at the breakfast but we were so disgusted by the room I felt sure where they prepared the food was probably not clean or maintained so we didnt eat the free breakfast. I would NOT recommend staying at the hotel.

Purchased 2 rooms for one night stay. Over $300 per room . Facility tired and needed revamp. Staff friendly , room clean . Felt room value was more $100/ night value . Sheets thin , imbedded old stain on sheets. Breakfast sausages looked anemic, watery . Safe bet was just coffee and cereal . Very disappointing for the cost.

The property is not well maintained, the room space is super but everything is very old and rusty, need paint and repairs. Although the mattress was comfy and bathroom was very clean .

This is an old motel that has been renovated. Housekeeping was bad. Just left clean towels. Bed left unmade, and trashed not emptied. Had to request a hairdryer! Breakfast OK. Not worth what we paid.
