I would like to let management know that we were very disappointed in our stay. The bed didn’t have a blanket on it or a blanket in the room. It was around 40 degrees on 12/31/25. The heater didn’t go on and off to regulate the temperature in the room. It was either on or off. We slept with our sweatshirts over our pj's. The air purifier showed the filter needed to be changed. The towels should have been replaced a long time ago. I took pictures to show how worn and frayed they were. I've donated better looking/ feeling towels to our local animal shelter. The coffee machine downstairs didn’t work. My husband went to get coffee this morning. Another guest came in and said the coffee machine didn't work the day before. He contacted management and was told it would be taken care of by the next day, which would have been today. I sent a text this morning about all of this and received a generic AI generated response. I have never written a bad review but for $300 a night, I expected better. I understand it was NYE, however, the pictures on the website are NOT what you get.

This motel was extremely dirty, as shown in the pictures I included. One of the towels was stained, there was a small stain on the sheets, and we also found a few hairs on the bed. The floor was dirty—I walked barefoot for just a few minutes and my feet were black afterward. It felt like any cheap motel, just decorated in a cuter way. The check-in system was very quick and easy, which was a plus. We were only here for a few hours during a road trip, but if you’re planning to stay longer, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The check-in process is on your phone. So make sure to text the number before arriving to get your code. The room had an odd smell like the filter needed to be changed. The room was cute, but no chair in the room, and the walls were very thin. Between the dog barking on one side and 4am couple fitting in the next room the stay was not very quiet. There is also no breakfast. And no one to ask to get linen from.

Well, I’ve stayed here before and I find that it’s a very cute place and it’s clean but the air system in the rooms are horrible. It’s very human and wet and sticky. You feel like your hair is heavy. The air is very humid even though the air condition is on, it does not get rid of the humidity. The floor was very sticky, and it was a very uncomfortable to sleep. I can’t explain what I’m trying to say, but the air conditioning system does not get rid of the humidity in that room that is something that needs to be looked into. Other than that, it was a pretty good stay.

This property did not have someone in person in the front office. They did self check in online. When they sent me the code they sent me the wrong code. I arrived late at night, tired had so much trouble getting in touch with someone to get the right code. To add to this this hotel does not have an elevator therefore it was an inconvenience for my mother who uses a cane.

The room was clean. Thank you. Suggestion: new towels are desperately needed, especially for the price of this room $230. These towels are so worn and harsh, nothing fit for a college dorm even. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

I’m very disappointed to arrive and find that this is the second room that has not been properly cleaned. When booking a room, guests expect it to be clean and ready upon arrival. I came to St. Augustine to celebrate my birthday and enjoy my first visit, but instead, I’ve had to spend time cleaning the room myself. Your website and social media posts are very deceiving when it comes to the actual condition that this motel is in. (Completely run down).
