「We stayed at this location a couple of years ago and the room we stayed in was much cleaner. We returned to find room 206 very dirty. The table tops were sticky with prior guests food drippings. The carpets were filthy and the bathroom around the toilet was disgusting. Urine was days old at the base of the toilet. The fan in the bathroom didn’t function at all. The bathroom ceiling was moldy. We will not return to the Blackstone Lodge in Lead, SD.」

「We've stayed at the Town Hall a couple of times and will definitely stay here again. The rooms are all so interesting and well maintained. We love the fact that someone cared enough about the history of this building to repurpose it into something that everyone can enjoy. Sue was so helpful with the check-in and entry codes. She makes this even more special with her attitude and friendliness.」
