"Large clean room, comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. Nice quiet location yet still convenient to local sights. Would stay again."

We had a great stay at the Fairview Inn in Jackson, MS! It is a perfect stop for a relaxing hotel, giving a feel of down south home at every point. From the greeting (and personal orientation/tour) by the staff upon check-in, enjoying specialty cocktails at the Library Bar, the clean and well decorated comforts in the suite, the family 24 hour (self serve snacks, water, coffee) kitchenette, the kind personal service.... we had nothing but a great experience. Marybeth was a great host hostess. There was some confusion on getting in but once we were in, it was perfect for us. She came & prepared full breakfast for us. It was all very nice. I would stay there again.

This is the cutest, most elegant place to stay you’ve never heard of. Tucked away on the edge of downtown Jackson. Large rooms with living space. Gorgeous outdoor space for drinks from the bar or the breakfast buffet. Or visit the rooftop to watch the sun go down. We will definitely be back.

Staff is ALWAYS pleasant and helpful. We use this as "home base" when we are in town to visit family. This location is very convenient with lots of restaurant options close by. Super clean. Probably time to bring back daily room cleaning as an option or at a minimum come into room to remove trash and replace towels.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a little wait to check in but the front desk staff were very friendly and made it better. Everyone was very polite and helpful.

I happened upon this place while searching online and liked that it was a more primitive place than the the large mansion b&b's. This cottage housed the editor of the newspaper during the Seige of Vicksburg, and had given up its wallpaper to use for printing the paper when the town was being starved of supplies. The stay included a fancy breakfast that was served at the Duff Mansion the next morning, so I got the mansion experience just the same! The breakfast was served by a man named David...

The hotel did not have any record of my reservation, made thru Expedia, although the funds had already been released from my bank account. The clerk was very professional. She found me a room, and threw in 3 breakfast vouchers because of the mix up and having to wait. Great customer service.

We went for our granddaughter's graduation from Jackson Medical School of dentistry. Her awards dinner was held at the Westin, and we stayed there for convenience. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed had very little support. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable just to sit on. Therefore, the only place to sit was at the desk chair or the no support bed.

We loved Dunleith it was beautiful and the people were friendly. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Just wish they offered a hot breakfast.

The room was amazing, we definitely like the bedroom being separated from the sitting area. The only problem we had during the night was this knocking sound coming from the laundry room next to our room. The sound lasted all through the night making it hard to sleep at night. But overall amazing place & the breakfast was on point.

This hotel surpassed my expectations. I always stay at Hampton Inn's. NOW, the only thing I didnt like was the fact that Expedia charged more money for the room then the price I could have got if I called the hotel direct. In fact $20 more.
So because of this unfortunate error on my part for using Expedia, who claims to get you the cheapest price.
