"Good proximity to the Melbourne Sandbelt Golf courses. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Drink voucher for the bistro was handy. Free on-site parking. This is very basic, budget-priced accommodation, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom is modern and the shower was great. Towels were nice and large."
Gateway on Monash Boutique Hotel

"The Gateway was wonderful, and this is the second time I’ve used it. I’m in a wheelchair and use the disability friendly room. It is 20 minutes into Melbourne half an hour away from the puffin Billy in Dandenongs and one hour away from the Yarra Valley. The room was serviced daily and bottled water was supplied. The manager was very helpful. I recommend this Hotel very highly and will be back. Continental breakfast was supplied daily. It certainly is a boutique hotel with lovely finishings."

"The location is fabulous - right across the road from the ocean. However, it appears that only the penthouse rooms get ocean views - the rest of the rooms are down the side of the hotel with no view. We had a steep set of stairs up into our room from the door of the room, which we were not aware of. Luckily the suitcases were not too heavy! Appreciated the on site parking but that is extra cost. Ate at the Brighton Baths restaurant and they offer a discount for people staying at the Quest."

"I stayed here for 5 nights and had a good experience overall. The room was clean and comfortable, making my stay pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Parking was also convenient, which was a great advantage. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would recommend it to other travellers."
