Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel

"An exceptional experience! Our apartment was spacious, clean and modern. The location can’t be beat in Reykjavik. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and traveled with a rental car to the Golden Circle and the south coast. Definitely a good “home base”. Relatively easy to find parking. A supermarket is a block away- which was helpful given the incredibly high prices at restaurants. Highly recommend!"

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. The staff is pleasant. The bar is functional. It is located outside of the downtown area. So, it takes 10-20 minutes to walk depending on where you want to go in downtown. There are good food options within a 5 minute walk."

"The staff was great, very helpful. Rooms cute & very clean. Bed was so comfortable. Box breakfast not worth the price. Thought we'd have a hot meal. Everything else was great. Good location."

"Beautiful hotel in a great location. The mushroom risotto and lemon tart were both excellent. Weather can be unpredictable so plan accordingly. Limited activity options during poor weather conditions. Our glacier trip was canceled due to weather and there was literally nothing else to do besides watch TV in our room. 3 small hot tubs were full, the few small sitting areas were also occupied with other travelers trying to occupy young children, it would have been nice if extra tables could have been set up with games to allow others options to escape their rooms."

"Clean Room, cool architecture, breakfast okay, cosy bar with good cocktails, the staff very helpful. Without asking the reception staff offered us a breakfast food box as we checked out five o’clock in the morning! Thanks for your help!"
