「The manager was friendly and helpful. He tried to help with the wifi, but the wifi connection was very weak. The ice machine was shut down for maintenance. The room was fine, except that one outlet did not work. I just used a different outlet since there were plenty available in the room. The parking is rather odd, since the spaces in front of the rooms are not really large enough for a standard sized vehicle (like our minivan) to fit. 「It a really small town wasn’t expecting much. I didn’t see any pests the room was clean enough the mattress protector was scary enough sight that I didn’t sleep under the covers and the breakfast wasn’t edible. But if I pass thru town again I’d stay again」

「The entire experience was terrible. The first room had a cigarette butt stuck in the perphole in the door and floor was filthy. Fridge and AC did not work and was during August heat. Moved me to another room...fridge did not work, moved me to 3rd room...AC did not work very well. Tried to cancel remaining 3 nights of reservation and they refused to refund funds. Reported to Chamber of Commerce. Do not stay there!!!」

「The location was convenient but the road construction taking place was inconvenient. The rooms have been renovated very nicely! However, the Expedia site shows a price of $59 a night when it’s first opened then once you begin to reserve the room the price changes to $65 a night. The blue bubble states, “ what you see is what you pay.” but the price goes up once you begin the reservation process? What’s up here?」

「Cute little cottages right on historic Route 66! Spotlessly clean, and the property is well maintained. Check-in was quick, with just a phone call to the number provided and a text message with a picture of a photo ID. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return when we are next in Joplin. Only glitch was with communication. I tried, unsuccessfully, to ask questions for clarification purposes.
