"Fantastic location close to Cardiff city centre, and even nearer to the vibrant Cardiff Bay with some fabulous restaurants Well maintained and clean rooms. Great staff and lovely food. Good value for money. Highly recommended"

The Manor House At Celtic Manor

"Had a lovely night in the celtic Manor. The room and pool was lovely. The only shame was the cost of the meal in the evening as £22 for rice, battered chicken pieces and two slices of cucumber and tomatoe is a lot.... Also no biscuits in the room to have with my cup of tea. But staff and facilities were lovely"

"We visited the area to meet up with family. The price we paid on Expedia was great and not dissimilar to that for Premier Inn/Travelodge, which we would normally have used. I would say that the hotel previously was 4-star, but I wouldn't say it was 4-star today. The room was clean and staff welcoming. Parts of look like it needed attention. But there was some scaffolding up and the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, so they're possibly making some improvements. Only one of the two lifts in reception were working, and they're very small. The air conditioning in our room didn't seem to work, but thankfully the window did open. The toilet paper and tea/coffee were not replaced automatically considering we stayed for 3 nights. TV was not smart (so unable to cast from mobile); only Freeview channels available. Strangely, the room had a small table but no chairs.... In the mornings, the hot water was only slightly warm. However, we did have a pleasant stay, and it's a very convenient location for the shops and eateries."

Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor

"Check-in was really good, polite and helpful staff. Room was clean, spacious and beds we comfortable. Spa facilities were really good, not too busy and nice changing rooms. Only issue was breakfast, arrived 10am and there was not much left, no bowls, butter, juices, mugs, fresh fruit or pastries. Due to this we tried the cooked breakfast, looked good but my daughters sausage was uncooked in the middle. This was disapointing as she ended up just having beans on toast, not the treat she expected! Hotel all in all is lovely, just need maybe more staff to re stock at breakfast"
