"How this place is still open is beyond me!! The whole place smells of damp and another smell that hasn’t even been identified by scientists. the ceiling is falling in throughout the hotel, and my room had a metal rot sticking out of it. My room wasn’t cleaned bin was full of old food/rubbish, shower looks like you could catch a bacterial infection, the toilet was covered in urine etc, the beds weren’t changed. The carpet is pure filth and hasn’t seen a hoover since the 90s probably when it was put down. The walls all covered in stains and holes and can’t forget the mould that’s growing. When I went to say about my room not being cleaned, the “cleaner” said she would clean it AGAIN not sure what type of humour that was. I would not stay there even if I was paid!!! It is a hazard throughout."

"Very nice stay at the Beachfront hotel, wasn't too sure when we booked but on arrival was pleasantly surprised. Luckily we got a parking space in the side road but there is parking at the hotel for a fee. Check in was quick and easy. Guy on reception (never got his name) helped me up the stairs with luggage and was very pleasant throughout our stay. The room was clean and adequate for what we wanted, good shower, hot water, fairly spacious, decor was ok, the bed was not the most comfortable but we slept ok. Only gripe we had with the room was it could do with some bedside tables or a shelf just to put a cup of tea on rather than having to use the floor... Location was perfect for all Blackpool has to offer, just a short walk to the centre and obviously the tram is just across the road All in all we had a very nice stay at this hotel. For the price we paid we were very happy, we've paid a lot more to stay in hotels that were very disappointing, cold, noisy and uncomfortable with staff who didnt care. Definitely not at the Beachfront Hotel and we will be regulars at this hotel in future."

"Stayed 17th-20th, Lovely B&B sea view cosy double bedroom, had everything we needed, no complaints, great sleep. Room would benefit with a mini fridge, and possibly a booster box for the wifi as it did lag and cut off quite often, which maybe due to being on the top floor. Other than that it was a great stay :)"

"Very dirty premises. Carpets threadbare. Bathroom door had to be forced to open it. Black mould inside shower. Rubbish on floor inside lift. Felt like we didn't want to touch anything. Photos do not accurately reflect the condition of the premises. Would not recommend staying at this hotel. We decided to leave after 10 minutes inside the building, never had to do that before and we have stayed in lots of places."
