「Excellent hotel , unfortunately we arrived too late and checked out too early and did not have enough time to enjoy the hotel. I wish I could have more time there at Kaikuora . 」

「This very reasonably-priced resort is the way to go if visiting this area. We had a wonderful unit, perched up the hill and loved our daily treks into town below (you can also drive, but we chose not to). An added bonus was the fitness track with various exercise stations around the property and we made sure to take advantage of the pools, the hot-tub, and the saunas. 「Out of all the places we stayed during our three weeks on the South Island, Ratanui Lodge provided the best service and hospitality. Firstly, the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them and the two ladies we dealt with went out of their way to give recommendations and ensure our stay was fantastic.
