First time to Burlington. Cool place, great restaurants, clean beaches. If there is an issue, its the number of homeless people in the area -- very sad, very visible.

Many restaurants were closed Sun/Mon, including the one we were really looking forward to eating at. Do your homework before visiting. Most shops were open but not all.

We've been here before. We've gone to the Lake Champlain Chocolate flagship store. It is not far from the ferry to New York.

People were friendly and helpful. Most were courteous and well meaning. There were good restaurants to be had and a good amount of stores to choose from. Prices for things were reasonable.

Easy drive to downtown Burlington and extremely close to the interstate if you're traveling. There were some iffy characters floating around the hotel parking lot during my few days there, but never had any trouble or negative interactions.
"This was the perfect little place for an easy weekend stay. I was in town for a hockey tournament and needed an affordable place on my own in between both rinks and not far from downtown. It had everything I needed was simple and very affordable. "
"There is construction going on to build a new building on the property. It does make for an issue trying to drive around the Hotel to park closer to our room. Other than that the place is excellent!"
