"We had a very bad experience with NH group, so much so that we would never use them again.
When we arrived at NH Buenos Aires Tango Hotel (4* 8.8 rating) we were informed that a storm on the previous night had deluged the room and thus they were going to transport at no cost to NH City Hotel (5* 8.2 rating)
According to its rating NH City is a 5 star hotel, it has to be the worst 5 star hotel we have ever stayed in.
Although we were promised that we would be given a suite in The City hotel we were in fact given a very drab looking family room. We immediately went back to reception and were told that the hotel was full and nothing could be done. They then decided that they miraculously found a vacant suite. It was nothing like the pictures of the suite that we had booked in the Tango Hotel. On entering, the room was freezing, so much so that my wife spent over a hour sitting in the corridor. Despite the efforts of the maintenance crew every 20 minutes the room temperature lowered by 0.5ºC! Again we went down to reception who yet again miraculously found yet another vacant family room in a completely full hotel. So driven by the need to have dinner and the fact that this slightly less drab family room had heating that worked we decided to accept the room.
It did not have the sitting area , the espresso machine nor bathrobes and slippers that we were supposed to have had. The curtain were in a very state or repair. The was one usable electric outlet at floor level. etc etc etc"
