"My friends and I needed a place to stay for 1 night in Anchorage before heading home and the Westmark had everything that we required. It’s right downtown, so very walkable to anything you could want/need. We just happened to stay the night of the summer solstice and were a quick 1 minute walk to where the solstice festival was being held. Very close to shops and food as well. "

"We loved staying here. We had one other family that we shared the living room and kitchen with, but we each had out own private bathrooms, and they had their own family room in their room. We only really saw each other during meals. We chose to go out for breakfasts and all-day excursions, but cooked dinner at the room. The host also let us use his grill and charcoal. Super nice guy and very accommodating to any of our requests! The place was hot to us, so we adjusted the thermostat, but when the other family showed up, they cranked it back up. So, we opened the window in our bedroom for sleeping, and the neighborhood is noisier than we are used to at home, with cars engines revving and people wandering the neighborhood at night. We would/will stay here, again, and the price was fair over the Labor Day weekend."
