The soothing smell of lavender
Unfortunately in this part of Japan the rail service is limited to local train and things move at a slow pace. Weather wasn't perfect today as it was gloomy with intermittent rains. I should be thankful it's not outright downpour remnant of the typhoon! Best to visit with friends and in cars! Only twice daily train stops at this station and the nearest more regular station is Nakafurano which is about 30 mins by walk or ¥700 by taxi! I took the taxi as the next train was 10 mins away and had I missed that I would have to wait for another hour for the subsequent train!!! Reminds me very much of the bus service in Canada! #bestof5
