「Beautiful place inside, private and quiet. The staff were very accommodating to my ever changing travel issues. I was sad not to be able to stay for more nights!」

「Could not use my booking due to a terrible smell in the room after turning on the heater. The odor was extremely strong — a heavy dusty, burning smell coming from the heater that made it unhealthy and impossible to stay in the room. I notified the host immediately and left the property, but the response was basically, “it’s probably just dust burning off and it will get better later because the heater is not used often.” The host also refused to provide any refund. 「Loved everything about this place. I am a sucker for historic homes and this one is fantastic. Our room was very comfortable. The staff was beyond accommodating and so pleasant. Highly recommend!」

「The pool was CLOSED! We always choose a hotel with a nice pool for our special needs daughter. We chose this one for that feature and were sorely disappointed that we couldn't use it. The breakfast was OK but not outstanding. The front desk staff was grest-- even suggested a terrific local Italian take-out restaurant.」

「Loved our stay my only complaint is the parking - It’s either $50 a day for valet or $30 a day for self parking that turns over at 5a so you’re paying for at minimum 2 days. Also getting to the parking with luggage is a nightmare」

「Staff was nice! Cleaning staff were ready to clean room everyday! Breakfast wasn't good, eggs tasteless, sausage links uncooked, had to microwave and coffee was weak, no variety in creamer. Coffee packs in room even weak. Need safe in rooms. Storage space in room minimal for 2 people had to use suitcases. Clothing storage area used for towels because towels rack in bathroom was broken. Tub miss stopper and shower-head only worked on jet. Both staff being so nice, why score not lower!」
