「Our group of two couples spent a week in a villa on the beach side of the Umaya Resort and absolutely loved it. The unit was nicely appointed and truthfully feet away from the Caribbean Sea. Anytime we had a concern they were very prompt to respond. They transferred us to and from the Placencia Airport free of charge. 「Delightful staff. Checkin was immediate and efficient. They held our bags until our room was ready and put the bags in the room for us. The rooms we had were clean, large and spacious. Kitchen included the basics along with an endless (just call) supply of ground coffee. Very nice pool and hot tub on the beach. Complimentary kayaks and morning yoga three times a week. Very nice Embers restaurant right next door where our included breakfast was served by a delightful staff 」

This resort is a little piece of heaven in Belize - it is not a fancy 5 star resort instead an eco-luxury resort where you can fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest, go for peaceful walks in nature, or intense hikes, live on the wild side & zipline or go waterfall rappelling or even do a night hike! If you love nature you will love bocawina! I cannot wait to go back!」
