This part of Sitka was very busy at mid-day but it quieted down nicely after 10 pm. Easy walk to harbor and Historical park.

Excellent
Sitka is a quiet little town that's perfect for quiet and plenty of historical culture. No fancy restaurant but good food. If you want to runaway, then try this little town.

Not much to do in the off season but I'll be back in the summer for fishing and hiking.

Sitka is a very beautiful place. My first time there and I definitely want to go again
"Vicki and her staff are wonderful. They will transport you anywhere you want to go.
Near the Raptor Center and the memorial park.
Unsure that walking there at night is safe."
"This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! Facility could use an update, but it was absolutely fine for us especially with the spacious room and king sized bed. Smart tv was a plus."
