「The room was very humid. The towels were damp. The blankets were damp. Because of the humidility, plaster became loose. We wanted to open the windows to air. However, in front of our window is smoking area. Therefore, we couldn't open the only window. We talked to the front desk to change for another room. We were told that the hotel was full. I went to an booking agent to check whether the hotel was full. Surprise, they have room. We were there 6 nights, no towel changed, no cleaning, no...

「Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde.
